Aurora provides various supplies to clients. Contributions of these supplies allow us to reserve our budgeted funds for unusual and time-sensitive items. See "Wish List" below of regular supplies needed.

Warehouse or Storage Space

Aurora collects basic furniture to recycle to clients going into independent housing. It is difficult to time donations with clients needs. We currently rent space to store these items and would like to eliminate this monthly expense. If you have some space you could allow us to use, please contact us.

Financial

Financial contributions are always welcomed. Aurora relies on the generous financial contributions of the community. We do not have a national affiliate, nor can we charge a fee for services. We are a small, private, local, nonprofit organization trying to make a big impact in our community. One-time gifts, bequests, memorial contributions, monthly pledges, annual giving, and sponsorship of special events are just some of the ways you can be a regular sponsor of Aurora.

The following is a wish list compiled by the Homeless Outreach Team.

These items are very much needed by our clients. Some items are for people who are not housed and are living out in the elements. Others are for people who have been homeless and are establishing a permanent home.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support!

Personal Care Items	Deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, toilet paper, lip balm, lotion, razors, shaving cream, feminine hygiene products, hand sanitizer, first-aid supplies, combs, brushes, etc.
Clothing (to keep warm & dry)	Socks & underwear for men, women & children, gloves, hats, insulated underwear
Baby Items	Disposable diapers, diaper wipes, bottles, baby blankets, baby powder, lotion, etc.
Non-perishable Foods	Crackers, canned meats (sausages, Spam, sardines, etc.), Ramen noodles, canned pasta, canned soup & stews, individually packaged food, instant coffee, bottled water, juices, etc.
Cleaning Supplies	General cleaning supplies: mops, brooms, vacuums, window & all-purpose cleaners, toilet cleaners & brush, cleaning rags, laundry detergent, dish washing liquid, bleach, etc.
Kitchen Items	Pots & pans, silverware, dishes, can opener, beds, lamps, kitchen utensils, hand towels, dish drainers, laundry containers, mixing & serving bowls, cups/glasses, small bowls, pot holders, etc.
Home Furnishings/Supplies	Lamps, pillows, blankets, sheets, wash cloths, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, handi-wipes
Furniture	Beds, dressers, chests, tables, chairs, couches, etc.
Misc. items	Insect spray, candles, flash lights, batteries, lanterns, sleeping bags, tents, bicycle locks & chains, 1- or 2-person tents, backpacks, etc.

Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
